ABOUT Theatron
Theatron is poised to revolutionize the social media and digital advertising landscape. Our platform redirects ad revenue to users based on advertisers' targeting preferences. Users, in turn, support their favorite content creators by sending ad coins (valued between 5¢ to $5) instead of useless likes for posts. Issued coins cannot be withdrawn unless they are received by other users for posts they made, and they will expire if not sent within a given time. Theatron users will also be able to generate their own coins with higher denominations. We believe this innovative approach, along with our additional features like ad coins received through QR codes on purchased products and exclusive crypto options with the Theatron coin, will redefine how social media can be a part-time gig for everyone, including grandma sharing pictures of her pastries.
Our journey began with a rough version of the app, which underwent a successful soft launch on iOS. During this period, hundreds of users were onboarded for testing, and we processed dozens of payments to content creators. However, progress was halted due to the geopolitical instability caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine, which affected part of our development team and led to hesitation from potential investors. Additionally, many investors lost interest over our commitment to redirect the majority of our revenue to content creators, complicating our funding efforts. In response, we launched the Theatron Coin, to be integrated into the Theatron app payment ecosystem and committed 10% of our gross revenue for 10 years towards the Theatron coin after the platform launches, rewarding initial holders.
Now, we are rebooting our efforts with renewed determination. The management and marketing teams are based in the United States, and we are currently establishing an additional development team in the U.S. to prevent future disruptions. The following roadmap outlines the strategic steps for the relaunch and growth of Theatron.
